Ostensibly about two drug dealers / murderers who are trying to get their fifteen minutes of fame. It is also about a fire marshal who apparently would have rather been a cop, and a cop who would rather be a celebrity. No good role models in this movie. The story is told straightforward, and the hero has something done to him that does not happen in most movies. It is a fair movie as De Niro does a decent job with his role, however I feel Grammer was miscast as the TV anchor with no scruples. Not great, but not unlikable. It just sort of is...
