Review of 15 Minutes (2001) by Marina N — 04 Jul 2012
A good thriller that goes beyond action and violence and brings some message. The subject the movie centers on - 15 minutes of spotlight - has always fascinated me. Maybe because we live in a MTV culture, where everything seems to have a price tag.
I can't really understand the low ratings. Maybe the satirical side of the film was not expected and, thus, not appreciated by most viewers. Or the violence was to much too take. It does not redefine the genre but definetely adds a valuable contribution to it.
