Review of 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992) by Rick S — 09 Sep 2008
I would not go so far as the movie info tries to lead us to. The success of the Spanish and Portuguese conquistadores was the destruction of the natives society (the paradise). One thing that is almost not told in the movie and I missed was the Jewish figure during this terrible and important time in Jewish history.
Still a piece of work.
