Review of 1408 (2007) by Daniel S — 16 Apr 2012
A rare good Stephen King adaptation. The movie is tense, and Cusack is as good as ever in what is essentially a one man show. Even the plot embellishments are right on. The movie only seems to falter when special effects take over while true dread and unease are out grabbing a smoke.
