Review of 1408 (2007) by Sholanda S — 29 May 2012
One of the few faithful adaptions of a King work that actually is as great as the story, if not surpassing it. The movie works on psychological horror rather than cheap scares and buckets of blood, and as you watch this man's life disintegrate, you actually care about him and get a deep glimpse into his scarred psyche.
