"1408" develops the surefire scares that can really test the bravery of a viewer, but the most notable factor is how they deliver. This films utilizes John Cusack's performance to display a personal reaction in the experience of ghostly activity, thus using emotional resonance as a true key to display the nature of fear in order to see its suspense.
