1408 is a haunting tale mixing horror with drama. This isn't a movie for your grandma, it really goes to the bone in a rather unique fashion. No, it's no horror classic, and I would've liked to see more of good ol' Sam Jackson here, but it's still a cool one if you dig paranormal-type movies.
