After seeing the alternate (originally intended) ending, I am bumping this movie from a 7/10 to 8/10. Have always liked this film, but was lukewarm on the ending - and this is much more palatable. John Cusack is fabulous in his role, and Samuel L. Jackson is great in a minor role as the hotel manager.
Grade = 8/10.
