Review of 14 Blades (2010) by Diony E — 22 Apr 2010
DONNIE YEN? 14 BLADES to torture and execute any of Donnie Yen's victims? Wei Zhao? A great cast? WINNER!
Oh wait, nevermind. This movie started off good and gradually shrinked to mediocrity. The action scenes are decent, but eventually gets boring and cliche. If you've seen a lot of martial arts flicks, it's really more of the same, only with a worse story than usual.
Anyway, this turned out to be one of the Donnie Yen films you can skip if you like. I'll still wait for my Ip Man 2, please.
