Review of 13 Sins (2014) by Lou A — 01 Oct 2014
With horror films of this era consisting of non-scary and generic supernatural stories, this well thought-out thriller is a breath of fresh air. It is admittedly not for the squeamish, but also not a mindless gore-fest.
Its idea of a conspiracy from the wealthy 1%, that involves evil games being played with those who are desperate, is constructed with a fair amount of originality and grips viewers from start to finish.
And the main roles are very well performed.
