Review of 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016) by Russell S — 16 Jan 2018
An intense, gripping movie that despite its long running time just flew by. I'm no Michael Bay fan but his particular directing talents are used to powerful effect here.
At times I did find myself struggling to keep a geographical handle on where I was during the action scenes which may have been down to the editing.
Some stronger characterisations of the main characters would have been welcome but the overall effect of the movie was strong and it did hold my attention.
