Review of 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016) by Hank H — 28 Jan 2016
Meh! 13 hours of drinking would have been more interesting. The story is confusing and incoherent. It is a political piece, but for the life of me I don't get the issue.
I guess that is the point. Why should we care about this incident say over 9/11 or hurricane katrina. I am sorry for those who lost their lives, but they were doing there jobs in a dangerous place. The movie failed to make clear what really happened other than the "consulate" was over run by heavily armed people who somehow did not shoot the ambassador although they ought to have easily been able to. That's what I want to understand - how/why did this mob of heavily armed people not kill the ambassador outright?
