Review of 13 Going on 30 (2004) by Jon C — 18 Mar 2012
For 2004:
Jennifer Garner shines so wonderfully in this age-reversal movie.
This is a total chick flick not that it's a bad thing.
Women and little girls will find a lot to like learning what it's like to be 13 and 30 at the same time.
The 80s soundtrack will put a smile on people's faces as well.
The ending looks like it may go into another cliche but thankfully it doesn't.
The underlying notion of love is the main focus here and it's not shoved in your face like other romantic-comedies.
I still have one question though: where the heck did that magic dust come from that made Jenna grow up and grow back down?
