Review of 13 Going on 30 (2004) by Kritie B — 09 May 2011
As far as rom-coms go, I'm inexperienced and somewhat jaded. But I will say that this one gets points for originality and the plain old fun factor. Andy Serkis is great in his lamentably small role, and (despite Michael Jackson being a child-molesting freak) I did like the "Thriller" sequence.
All in all a heartwarming and yet insightful film, and that's a rarity these days in the genre.
