(Spoiler alert!).
I approve heartily of the darker/sinister camera work and the tactics at play. What I wasn't crazy about was the pat ending and predictable outcome. I knew from the beginning that there would be one survivor and who it would be. It was just too perfect that the sadistic lord would be humbled and cry out against pain when his own turn came. I prefer more nuanced and complex stories involving character growth and shades of gray rather than this typical "good vs. evil" story that has been told too often. Still, enjoyable action.
