This is a old school samuri film. 13 samuri unite to hunt down and kill another sadistic samuri. The 13 set up an ambush in a small villiage. Then the 13 battle an army of 200 and attempt to finish their mission.
The first hour and 15 minutes is all setup. The 13 samuri assemble, plan their ambush, and then make sure their prey has to pass their way. This part moves a little slow. however the last 45 minutes is an epic battle of 13 vs.
200 through a small villiage. Truely great sword fighting and tons of epic action make 13 Assassins a winner.
