Review of 13 Assassins (2010) by Alex W — 08 Aug 2014
This film reminded me of a lot of movies in a good way. There is many similarities to 7 samurai as well as many american period epics. This has one of the best villains I have seen on screen, hes horrible in the medieval way and and yet original in his motivation.
There is also a great mountain man that provides just the right amount of comic relief in a very serious film (samurai are very serious) and hes a bad ass.
