Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Atthemovies — 29 Jun 2011
It is not the best movie I have ever seen, but it is still pretty good. It is incredibly painful to watch the climax of the movie, the cutting off of the arm. Between when he first gets trapped, and when he starts to cut, the movie is a semi-boring character study.
It is very technically well made, and well acted, but it is kind of boring watching 45 minutes of being trapped by the rock. Besides that I liked it. The acting was of course phenomenal, and the score was surprisingly good.
Overall, a pretty good movie. Worth seeing, but be prepared for both gruesomeness, and possibly a little bit of boredom (not necessarily).
