Genuinely moving and brilliantly directed tour through the landscape of the southwest and a young mans inner emotional life. It takes a pretty darn good director to make a narrative about someone pinned to a canyon wall to be compelling and dramatic.
Danny Boyle does so with affecting glimpses of the humanity of his characters.
