I'm sorry... I really wanted to like this movie. I did at the start--such a dream, Danny Boyle, A.R Rahman again and James Franco, such vast deserts and the cinematography was great it just... I've seen a lot of disembowling sequences (being a horror fan) and this film failed to shock me, nor move me.
The idea of it, if someone were to tell me the story verbatim, I woulda been more thrilled, shocked and inspired... as a movie, it just didn't work for me.
