I was disappointed by this flick from the director of Slumdog Millionaire, Danny Boyle.

Aron Walston is a man who loves adventures, mountain climbing especially. After Walston gets trapped under a rock in a Utah canyon, he has to survive on little water, and hope. Some aspects of the film are interesting, like the fact that it's a true story, and other parts that I don't want to spoil for my potential readers.

The film was something special to some, but for me, it hardly did a thing.

Sure, the performance delivered by James Franco (Spider-Man) was great. Sure, the cinematography was pretty sweet. Sure, it's quite a triumphant true story of one's will to survive. It was interesting and well-made in most aspects; but, frankly, it was really boring at times.

I really can't recommend it to many, except those who love survival films and moderately entertaining films ; there's really only one other thing it's good for: it can put you to sleep in quite a hurry at certain scenes; so insomniacs, too, should check this one out.
