It rarely happens that I give a five-full shiny stars to any film. This one truly deserves it. What makes it more astonishing is the fact that is a true story. It has the funny, crazy, and scary moments, but all together the film and the score build up the inspiration like no film. Boyle's exuberant film never feel a tad boring, leaving us in full suspense whilst wondering whether the main character dies or not.
Such a complex, and human role was powerfully and terrifically played by James Franco, giving us a full experience of the stages in accepting death--and then the final blowout hits. Every step and emotion he shows perfectly blends with the scene, and at times leaves us hopeless. The tragic and ironic moments only intensify the scenario he is in--invoking common questions such as "What if I did that?". (most notably when his ex-girlfriend tells him you will be lonely) Truly Worth-WATCHING-- is it 127 hours till death or till escape(They may be one-and-the same thing)?
