Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Michelle H — 26 Oct 2012
Wowsa! 127 Hours is a story about Aron Ralston, an extreme adventurer, who became trapped in Southern Utah with his arm squished by a rock. James Franco is a natural Aron Ralston, but what I really loved about this movie was the story.
Director/Writer Danny Boyle took Aron Ralston's story and amped it up into something deeper and fantastic. Something more than the Saw-like portrayal I was expecting. It's a story that lingers and keeps circling.
Sometimes we all get stuck and need some help; we just have to want it enough to make sacrifices.
