Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Lyberis D — 27 Dec 2012
You know that Ralston isn't gonna die in the end because this movie is based on a book written by him so it's very difficult to make a movie interesting when everybody knows how it's going to end.
Well, what can I say? These amazing creatures achieved to make one of the best authobiographic films ever made. It's Danny Boyle's best film since Trainspotting. The script is great, although it can be considered disturbing for some, full of touching and funny moments- frequently at the same time.
But the best think about this film is James Franco's performance. Who could have imagined that Peter Parker's best friend is such a great actor? With this performance, Franco earned the second place in my list Top 100 performances in the history of cinema.
