Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Greg T — 12 Jan 2014
As great as Colin Firth was in The King's Speech, the Oscar for 2010's Best Actor should have gone to James Franco, for his gritty, realistic, bleak and human portrayal of Aron Ralston, a man in an unbearable situation, and Danny Boyle succeeds in keeping the audience hooked when almost nothing is happening.
In short, 127 Hours is a magnificent masterpiece.
