Review of 127 Hours (2010) by John D — 04 Jul 2014
Right off the bat, Franco comes off as charismatic and likable. I was surprised at how easy it felt to establish this character, and I was even more surprised at how early his arm gets caught! I thought the movie was going to be at least half flashbacks- no, the flashbacks are few and short.
We stay with this character caught in a canyon the whole movie and there's never a dull moment.
