Review of 127 Hours (2010) by James H — 07 Aug 2016
Amazing movie was almost going to give it a 3 and a half stars (because I thought it wasn't based on a true story just a book), but I loved the ending and then I found out it was a true story.. I then saw Aron Ralston on Wikipedia.... amazing story. The human will to survive is obviously real..
I cryed during this movie too. Seeing the images of who he was thinking of and the thoughts that were running through his mind, was like his motivation to survive..
However the movie could have been better, the movie made me cry when it showed him as a little boy and he was remembering his childhood, and everything was fine and he was happy... and then seeing him with his arm stuck between a rock was emotional...I really think it could have brought alot more emotions.... I wouldn't of minded if it was an extra half an hr from what it was, to delve deeper into the emotions. That would of probably made the movie a 4 and a half or possibly a 5 in my opinion....for these sort of movies bringing emotion is a major part... but anyway great movie, great music, and enjoyed watching it.
