Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Francisco R — 11 May 2012
'Simple? Not at all, as a matter of fact, 127 Hours has a big depth. Masterpiece.'.
There is no force more powerful than the will to live.
127 Hours is a powerful movie. Based on the incredible true story, Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) directed it perfectly and who played Aron Ralston, the victim of this amazing true story, was James Franco, who was fantastic delivering without a doubt the best performance of his career. Here you have it, 127 Hours, a perfect movie, Danny's directing is unforgettable, James' performance is remarcable, the soundtrack is fantastic, the photography is superb and the writing, well, the writing is just excellent, it would be figured that watching a movie about a man trapped on a rock in the middle of a canyon could be boring, but well, during the whole, I wasn't bored at all, they always kept a thing to make you entertained, watching a guy that does anything to live is just extraordinary and I loved his thinking, his flashbacking... 127 Hours is one of the best movies that I've seen in a long time. Watch it if you haven't, it's completely worth it, this movie is a remarcable experience and it makes you wonder and think about so many stuff that just makes me think again that this movie was perfectly achieved, that's why it's a masterpiece and it recieved 6 Oscar nominations. Without a doubt one of my favorite movies, this is a heroic movie, this is just inspirational, I loved it. Masterpiece.
10/10.
