Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Nick E — 10 Jul 2012
127 hours is like a tribute to good camera work. To begin with it feels like the films had too much sugar, it's fast paced, excited and the variety of shots change so quickly, it really creates a great sense of pumped up adrenaline.
Then the serious stuff. I can't remember the last film I watched that captured the sense of pain, desperation, hopelessness and increasing insanity as well as 127 hours. Wasn't that keen on James Franco before, but he was also really impressive in this.
