Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Luke S — 14 Feb 2015
127 Hours is a gripping, jaw-dropping survival film as well as one of the greatest biographical films ever made. James Franco gives an Oscar worthy performance as the extremely relatable Aaron Ralston, and any actor who can carry an entire film by himself is definitely one of the best actors working today.
I also could not write a review to this film without mentioning the breathtakingly intense arm amputation scene, which is undoubtedly the highlight of the film. The cinematography, acting and excellent soundtrack to 127 Hours makes it one of the very best films of the 21st century so far.
