Review of 127 Hours (2010) by Nakasha B — 07 Feb 2015
First of all the beginning of the movie took a little long to get to the point of them going to the desert area. I did like the drop into the hole where Aron met the two girls and at the bottom of the drop was a pool of water. But when he went to explore more later that day, his arm got stuck in the rocks.
The part where he broke his own arm and had to cut the nerve, I squealed the whole time. His strategies were very good though. I liked that he thought of making pulleys to left the rock with his body weight.
All in all the movie was good. It's a good look at self reliance and individualism. He relied on his nature instincts on survival.
