Review of 12 Years a Slave (2013) by Alon G — 22 Jul 2014
Amazing Acting. Although the violence was a bit much. The abundance of blood and punishment were distracting from the great performances of the actors.
I feel as if McQueen was trying to convince his audience that it was THAT bad by creating over the top violence. But in the end it was just Hollywood showing off.
