Review of 12 Years a Slave (2013) by Steve D — 05 Sep 2014
I did not find it nearly as powerful as most seem to. I have seen the topic covered much more powerfully and I didn't find the acting as good as it could have been. That being said it is a powerful true story that is skillfully brought to the big screen.
