Even if it's not the best movie of the year 2013 (it's Gravity for me) it is one of the most important of the last couple of years. It's resolution is timeless and you never could've seen a movie presenting slavery one of mankind's greatest sin so unconcealed but yet with simple tools.
If it will win the Oscar it won't be unworhty.
