No wonder this movie won best picture at the oscars, this movie is absolutely incredible! This movie takes your heart and tears it apart and hardly gives it a scene to put it back together! It gives you a look into our ugly past in America, and one of the most realistic and accurate pieces I've seen depicting the struggles of slaves in the 1800s.
The only one complaint I have is that some of the dialogue is very clearly scripted but 95% of the time the acting is so good that it doesn't make much of a difference, plus that might have to do with the writers trying to fit the time period! It's a small blemish on the face of a truly spectacular production! In the end this movie is incredible, one of the best films I've seen in a long time!
