Review of 12 Years a Slave (2013) by Timothy G — 04 Aug 2015
This was such a great film. What attracted it to me is what attracts me to a lot of films is casting. I think a solid cast is half the key to victory. You want a powerful story, you need extremely powerful acting.
It is a certain necessity in any story involving slavery. The great cast aside, this movie was just so great from start to finish. Its terribly hard to explain in a review without ruining it but I will sum it to one word: Fassbender.
