Review of 12 Years a Slave (2013) by David S — 14 Nov 2015
12 Years A Slave is one of the greatest films of our generation. I literally cannot find a single thing wrong with this at all. The acting is so superb from everybody, especially from Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The emotion and delivery from him is one of the best I've ever seen. Lupita N'yongo was so good as well along with the entire cast. This films emotion just oozes off the screen and I have to say, its been a long time since a movie made me cry, and this did it with a force I haven't felt in awhile.
It is also a beautifully shot film. This is one that will be remembered for a very, very, very long time.
