Review of 12 Years a Slave (2013) by Vortex Shadow — 30 May 2017
Very entertaining. I give it only 3 stars because it is basically historical fiction. Despite what some might say about the story of the main character, the historical accuracy of this film is simply false. Because it portrays itself as a true story, I can't help but feel like I'm being lied to and deceived.
Despite being fiction, it's a great piece of entertainment.
