This is one of the best movies I have EVER seen, and I do not mean just this year. This movie is incredible from start to finish and more powerful than most films covering the same or similar subject matter.
Steve McQueen's direction is superb and John Ridley deserves the Oscar for his astounding screenplay. If Chiwetel Ejiofor does not win for his amazing acting, it will be a travesty. Likewise, Michael Fassbender deserves recognition for his.
