From 12/29/2013. "12 Years a Slave" (Sat 11/09/2013): I would wait for the video. Great acting. Actors, both black and white, speak with a British accent, which is good, but somewhat anachronistic and incongruous to the setting, the American South.
The opening scene, how Solomon Northup is kidnapped, stretches credibility as not realistic in the 1841 Washington DC.
