Review of 12 Years a Slave (2013) by Barney O — 29 Jul 2017
Very powerful film almost impossible not to be moved and disturbed while watching it. It's only failing is that it is unrelentingly grim and slightly overplays it's hand. Deseved it's Oscers and those involved should be applauded, Michael Fassbender puts in a great performance as the principle villain.
