Review of 12 Strong (2018) by Jennifer S — 01 Feb 2018

I didn't know much about this film before I went to see it, so had no expectations. I was unaware, obviously of this mission into Afghanistan due to it's classified nature, until now...it was amazing that these 12 men went in and within a couple of weeks accomplished their mission which many thought would take months.

They showed real grit and bravery in taking on the Taliban at times in hand to hand combat on horseback. I have seen many war movies, few really capture for me the essence of what it might have been like to be right there in it, I think this film does that.
