A better than expected modern war film..as the commercials made it seem it would be the same kindof dumb patriotic fare that most US war films suffer from. It does have a little of that, but less than I expected, as it actually does show the afghan side of the conflict and spends considerable time developing the afghan leaders character, which was probably the strength of the film.
Pretty solid modern war film, and better than I thought it would be.
