Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Ron P — 25 Jan 2012
Its a courtroom drama where a young Puerto Rico boy is on trial for murder and there is hard evidence on him. The case is also not going his way as the eleven out of twelve of the jury see him guilty, but one man thinks more into the situation and tries to speak his mind.
Pros- This is why classic films need to be more well known because of the superb acting. There is no bad actor in this film and that's a great reason to love the film. The idea of the film is great because it's sometimes very hard to just say guilty or not guilty. The struggle of the jury proves that as we see them start to change their ideas and think more outside of the box like the main character.
Overall- There is nothing wrong with this film as it is perfectly directed and with a cast that has no flaws its close to being a perfect movie. This is also why classics are much better than today's films, more thought is put into the films, better actors, and better directors. I would rather watch this film again and again than watch any of the Transformer films.
