Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Santu C — 15 Jun 2013
A minimalistic masterpiece. I don't want to talk about it too much, so I'll just say it's a beautiful snapshot of the raw, simplistic cinema that still continues to resonate through thrillers and suspense pictures of today, where the only things needed to capture our imaginations are a solid script, towering performances, and a timeless plot oozing with ignorance, bigotry, and ultimately truth.
Don't let it's lack of colour fool you, this is edge-of-the-seat cinema at it's most advanced.
