Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Luis R — 20 Jun 2013
The most incredible part about the film is how it never changes setting. Its one of those movies that at first glance looks like itd be immensely boring but turns out to be incredible. At one point your wondering how a movie that has literally stayed in one room the entire time can still capture your attention and keep you going.
The cinematography could not have been better, not for cool visuals, but lighting choices and the use of several shots really added to it all. Sidney Lumet does a genius job with the camera using lenses and the position of the camera to help move the story along.
12 Angry Men proves you can make an astounding film with nothing more than people talking.
