Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Sebastian O — 05 Jun 2014
This courtroom classic is a feat for acting, cinematography and screenwriting. Countlessly imitated and parodied in cinema and television, 12 Angry Men is incredible in the sense that it captures only what happens in that room.
The trial is not seen, nor the victim or suspect. The outcome is not shown either, so you *spoilers* don't actually know who killed the boy's father. It's a fascinating film, and does not wither with age.
