Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by J.t. M — 20 Jun 2015
A claustrophobic thriller of sorts in the sense that someones life is in the hands of 12 men confined to one room. As one of the first older black and white films I had ever seen, I was surprisingly fond of this movie. I realized how less can be more in a film where so much was done with so little. It raises important questions about the justice system and reasonable doubt. If you want a genuine classic from a master director in his early days, look no further.
5 STARS.
