Review of 12 Angry Men (1957) by Keiron B — 14 Nov 2015
The influence of 12 Angry Men is well beyond a movie. It's thoroughly studied in law school, as leadership materials in business schools, and even in sociology for its conformity, prejudice and class conflicts content.
For ordinary audience, they can take it as a lecture on social justice, the spirit of the common law system and the reminiscence of separation of powers. In cinematic context, the character development, the building-up of atmosphere and the cast performance are all flawless.
A timeless classic.
