This is an intense, authentic, suspenseful film with brilliant performances by Victor Almanzar and Elizabeth Rodriguez and impressive cameos by John Leguizamo and Julia Stiles. It deals with the question of whether a life in drug crime can ever be escaped, focusing on a marine who returns to his hometown and must confront the consequences of his actions in the past.
The story is powerfully and clearly told in a compressed 80 minutes.
